Our Story

DVDP was started by Dr. Stephanie DeMarco, a longtime general practitioner in the state of Delaware.  She has been practicing small animal medicine since 2001 and has had a very strong interest in veterinary dentistry for at least 15 years.  Dr. DeMarco knows how important veterinary dentistry is and how hard it can be to find care for your pets. She has also been a general practitioner who performed dental procedures and sometimes there is not just enough hours in the day to get every pet seen and cared for. It is the mission of DVDP to support small animal veterinary hospitals by providing cost effective and quality veterinary dental care to their patients. We strive to work collaboratively with hospitals to provide a client centered focus on dental health to provide a needed service for all pets in Delaware. Dr. DeMarco is very comfortable with all cases of cleanings, extractions, gingival hyperplasia, oral tumor staging, bonding and advanced periodontal care. Although she is not a boarded veterinary dentist, she collaborates with local veterinary Dental Specialists for cases which require more advanced specialist care. She has worked hard to hand pick a team that is as excited about dentistry and client care as she is.
