By selecting a date from the list, you are agreeing to the terms and conditions outlined in the existing contract between your hospital and DVDP. This ensures a smooth and efficient process for both our teams.

 FAQs for Veterinarians who partner with DVDP

    • All patients need Bloodwork within 30 days of the procedure

    • Animals less than 7 years of age need a Chem 10/CBC

    • Animals greater than 7 years of age need a Chem 17/CBC

    • Dogs need an up to date heartworm test within the year

    • If patients do not have bloodwork run prior to the procedure, it will be run at the hospital (if in house bloodwork capabilities exist) at the cost to the client

  • No! DVDP will come with our own technical staff. Your team will be responsible only for check in, invoicing and checkout of the patient

  • No! DVDP will contact all clients after the procedure and prior to pickup. We will go through the anesthesia, the procedure, and all aftercare. They will be informed that your hospital was not involved with the procedure and follow-up concerns if associated with the procedure should be directed to DVDP. 

  • We are committed to a healthy and stress-free procedure, but we all know that sometimes things do not go the way we anticipate. DVDP will only leave you with patients who are recovered, extubated, warm, and comfortable. If there is a problem, either the doctor or one of the DVDP staff will stay until the patient is stable.    

  • Yes! Our goal is to be as unobtrusive and supportive to your hospital as possible, all while providing the best possible care for any dental patient in the hospital. 

  • It really depends on the setup of your hospital but the goal is YES! – we just need a place to be in your hospital and a working anesthesia machine.  If you have another to use, then this should not affect your regular workflow.
